About the workshop
How do cultured meat and seafood move from the lab to the plate? FEASTS brings this question to CellAgriPT2026 with a two-day workshop on the future of cellular agriculture in Portugal and in Europe.
The programme opens with the Future Foods Innovation Game, a hands-on session on responsible innovation, followed by a keynote lecture by Bruce Friedrich and a networking evening. The second day is dedicated to Portugal: the presentation of the National Action Plan and a round table on what comes next for the field in Portugal and across Europe.
The workshop is open to researchers, startups, regulators, civil society and students attending CellAgriPT2026.

About FEASTS
FEASTS (Fostering European Cellular Agriculture for Sustainable Transition Solutions) is a Horizon Europe project (Grant Agreement No. 101136749) studying cultured meat and seafood through an interdisciplinary, food-systems approach.
It brings together more than 35 partners from research, startups, industry and civil society to build unbiased knowledge on how these technologies could support a resilient, fair and sustainable food system. FEASTS is coordinated by Prof. Frederico Ferreira (IST-ID, Portugal).
